Flying Orlando → Seoul at the front of the plane
Booked well, Orlando to Seoul in First Class is not an indulgence so much as arithmetic: a flat bed out of Orlando International Airport (MCO), hours of genuine sleep, and a first day in Seoul you don't lose to recovery.
Because no carrier flies true First Class nonstop on this pairing, the routing craft matters. ANA, Japan Airlines and Cathay Pacific each offer superb one-stop itineraries through their hubs — often at fares below what a nonstop business seat would cost, with a lounge stop that feels like part of the vacation.
Orlando's lounge scene serves its leisure mission — airline club lounges and strong contract facilities in the new Terminal C — but there is no flagship First Class lounge. The memorable ground experiences begin at the gateway: American's Flagship complex in Miami or the Emirates and Chelsea Lounges at JFK, both an easy hop from MCO.
On timing: april brings cherry blossoms along the Han River and October sets the palaces against fall color — these are Seoul's two perfect months. May, June, and September are close behind. Late June through August is hot, humid, and punctuated by monsoon rain; winter is genuinely cold but crisp, with the city's food culture at its most warming and premium fares at their lowest.
