Flying Orlando → Paris at the front of the plane
Booked well, Orlando to Paris in First Class is not an indulgence so much as arithmetic: a flat bed out of Orlando International Airport (MCO), hours of genuine sleep, and a first day in Paris you don't lose to recovery.
The absence of a nonstop First Class product here is an opportunity in disguise: a one-stop on Air France, British Airways and SWISS adds a world-class lounge visit mid-journey and frequently prices better than direct premium alternatives.
Orlando's lounge scene serves its leisure mission — airline club lounges and strong contract facilities in the new Terminal C — but there is no flagship First Class lounge. The memorable ground experiences begin at the gateway: American's Flagship complex in Miami or the Emirates and Chelsea Lounges at JFK, both an easy hop from MCO.
May, June, and September are the golden months — terrace weather without August's closures, when many great restaurants shutter for les vacances. Fashion weeks (late February, late September) and the June air show squeeze both First cabins and palace-hotel suites. For value, target November or January through March: La Première availability improves markedly and Paris in a wool coat has its own considerable charm.
